Transformations through working with Kristin
Well I am now going into my 9 th week and I have to say Thank you Kristin!!!
For an entire year and a half before starting the program I was unable to sleep. I would sleep 3-4 hours at a time. I was also experiencing anxiety and was gaining weight fast. I had brain fog, along with aches and pains daily. I was always hurting to get out of bed and had felt so tired and overwhelmed with the simple things. I tried to do it on my own as I have trouble sharing and asking things of people but Kristin encouraged me to give it a try, which leads to today.
I lost weight and inches my first week. Couldn't believe it and the best part is, I was sleeping THROUGH THE NIGHT for the first time in a LONG LONG time!! I had more energy, clarity, aches and pains have disappeard, and felt like I had gained strength and peace of mind.
I had a desired amount of weight to lose and have reached my goal a month early, which is so rewarding!
I am grateful for this opportunity as it has changed my life literally, and the knowledge I have learned to live a healthy lifestyle is going to stay with me forever. I no longer have cravings for sweets as well as no desire to snack, which is amazing as I had lived with Mr Hawkins (the cheezies) for years. And that separation had been very easy. LOL

I just found an email from Kristin dated one year ago that had the subject line: Day 16!! I’m proud to say I have kept most of the weight off (a few pounds have crept back) but I have only had a handful of migraines and I can honestly say this program changed my life. I used to have 1-4 migraines/month! Thanks Kristin and all part of the members only Facebook group for helping me along the journey. I love to read people's posts and, especially food/meal ideas. I *know* what foods my body wants and thrives with and which foods are so bad for me. This year's focus now is to get stronger!
Hey everyone! I would like to share my journey so far.. I feel like the days can be long sometimes but the weeks are so so short.
I have been unhappy with my body and mind for about 5 years now. I lacked in motivation even though I was always my happiest being active outside. After having my son in May 2015 I knew I had to push to become happy and healthy again. A year went by and I slowly achieved it mentally but not physically. Fall 2016 I started my weightless journey. Losing 25lbs I found myself happier and getting back my mental clarity. I was working out 2 hours a day 6 days a week. Running 100+ km a month. I enjoyed it by didn't understand why the weight stopped coming off when nothing had changed. March 2017 I started my program with Kristin Friesen and boy did things change! The structured plan from my blood results worked wonders on me. I work out 50% less and eat more then before. Knowing the kinds of food my body thrives on was critical for helping me loose the last 15lbs (5 more to go whoop whoop)! Not only has this program helped me achieve my weightless goals it has given me a mental clarity I didn't know existed. I have been pretty cloudy the past 5 years (living on auto pilot it seemed). I wake up well rested with a clear mind to tackle the day in front of me.
I think there are a lot of factors that have contributed to my overall transformation since the fall, but working with Kristin with my Metabolic Balance food plan is certainly where it started. When I first began, I felt stuck, both mentally and physically. I know what a healthy lifestyle should look like, but I was stuck in the negative cycle that seemed impossible to get out of. Kristin’s continued encouragement, and regular check ins gave me the accountability that I needed. I’m a rule follower, so having such a clear food plan made it really easy for me to stick to, and I was seeing and feeling the results within the first couple of weeks! Over the last few months, I’ve learned to listen to my body and understand how certain foods make me feel. Doing such a major overhaul of my diet also allowed me to work through some mental hurdles I’d been struggling to overcome. So overall, after 14 weeks, I’m 18 pounds lighter, 20+ inches thinner, and feel overall healthier and feeling lighter (figuratively and literally). I don’t think I’ve ever felt this confident and in control in my adult life. Thanks for your continued guidance, education and care Kristin!
I began Metabolic Balance April 9..
I lost 10 lbs., became a lot healthier, and much happier because of it.
It began with an education of sorts, a discovery of my true nature of nutrition, and an extremely knowledgeable coach who's always there if needed.
I've learned so much, became a different person, and confidently will continue to go forward thanks to Metabolic Balance and Kristin Friesen.
